In 2021, she dreamed of a little girl—about four or five years old—who looked like her boyfriend (now her husband). The girl was smiling at her, loving her mother dearly. At the time, she dismissed it as just a dream, especially when she became pregnant with a boy in 2022. But deep in her heart, she never let go of the hope that one day, she would have that daughter.
Then her health began to decline after childbirth. She was diagnosed with PCOS and hyper clinical hypothyroidism. Over nearly two years, she consulted four different gynecology specialists. All of them gave the same conclusion: recovery would be difficult—let alone conceiving again.
But in May 2024, while napping one afternoon, she dreamed of the same girl again. This time, she was older—seven or eight—and smiling at her once more. When she woke up, her desire to have this child grew stronger than ever.
She prayed, asking God for this child as a promise and a blessing. She started working out, eating healthy, and maintaining a disciplined lifestyle. She kept praying, praising, and worshiping to keep her faith strong.
But one month later, her new medical report came back. The results were the same. Still not ideal.
That night, she cried out to God. "Why do You keep showing me this child if there's no hope of me conceiving again?"
And in return, God spoke to her: "The dream I am showing you is not a dream to make you long forever. It is a Promise-Dream. I promised to give it to you, and I will."
The very next month—she became pregnant.
She didn't need to see the NICC report. She already knew: this was a baby girl. Never mind that for generations, her husband's family line had struggled to produce a daughter. She didn't need the 5D scan either. She knew this baby girl would look like her father.
And indeed, she did.
She named the baby girl: Elynna, which mean God have answered.
God is faithful. He never neglects the prayers of His daughters. Nothing is ever too big for Christ to overcome.
So when God told us to REJOICE, do it, it isn't so much a feeling but a choice, knowing that he will fulfill his promise!
